Delhi Food Trail at Chandni Chowk – Chapter 1

Hello Guys… Goodmorning 😘
Recently I went to the famous ‘Chandni Chowk’ of Delhi.

The scrumptious smell, when you pass through the ‘Paranthey Wali Gali’ is as inviting as the ‘Jalebi Wala’ on the corner road.

This affordable market is famous for buying dresses, pieces of jewellery, bags and household stuff.

As you exit from the metro station to the hustled narrow roads, you spot Hanuman Mandir parallel to which is ‘Natraj Bhalley Wala’. I am not a Bhalla fan but they taste yummy. The ‘Thandi Dahi’ in scorching heat soothes your mind.

It’s a place where you find street food stalls after every ten steps. If you are not a street food fan, you can enjoy the same food at ‘Haldirams’, which is opposite to the ‘Gurudwara Sis Ganj’.

Do not forget to treat yourself to the national drink of India ‘Lassi’ and state drink of Delhi – ‘Banta’. 🙂

If your taste bud needs a hint of something spicy, saucy, Chatpata and full of flavours. You need to binge on ‘Aloo Chaat’.

Breakfast for 7 Days – What I have

Hello and GoodMorning to all of you!! If you are a kind of person who cannot eat the same food everyday then high five because that’s me.

Every Morning I wake up with a constant thought – What will I eat Today. What shall I cook today.

If you are wondering how much time it takes me to prepare this meal? Well, it depends on how much time I have on that particular day. There are days I have plentyp of time and days when I am on a time crunch.

So let’s get you going through my 7 days Breakfast Menu without much talking –

1. Days When You Don’t Want to Cook – Have outside 😃 –

2. Bread Omelette/Poached Eggs To the Rescue –

3. Days you want to eat tasty food and within two minutes 😍

4. Days you want to eat healthy –

5. Days when you have a lot of time 😍 Cook Yummy Food 😋

Healthy Tomato Soup – Easy Home-made Recpie

Winter Is Coming 😍 and who doesn’t like to dwell in warm clothes, with a mug of hot soup. Sipping it in slowly-slowly, feels like every inch of our body is warm.

If the same soup is healthy then it’s a plus-plus💃 I recommend you to try this yummy healthy homemade tomato soup Today😍 It is super easy and not at all time taking. So without any further delay, let’s get started 🍵

This recipe and ingredients are for one bowl-

1. Dip 4 tomatoes(normal in size) 🍅 in a saucepan full of water and bring it to boil. Switch of the sim when boiling starts. Cover the lid for 15-20 mins.

2. Peal the tomato, and cut it in square shape. Put them in a mixer and make a puree. Keep aside.

3. 1 Onion and Garlic, chopped finely.

4. Melt 1 tbsp butter in saucepan add 1 bay leaf, after 5-10 secs add garlic and onion.

5. When onion turns golden, add the tomato puree, and half glass water to it. Add crushed black pepper and salt. Bring to boil.

6. Add a paste of (2 tbsp corn flour + 1 tbsp water) in the saucepan. Add 1/2 tbsp cream (Optional). Boil for 5 mins.

7. For bread 🍞 crumbs, cut a bread in small cubes, roast them on a pan for some time, until they turn dark brown.

8. Decorate your soup with bread crumbs, a hint of cream and coriander leaves.

That’s it!! Your yummy tomato soup is ready in 8 simple steps 😍 This is how my soup looked-

So, I present to you, an extremely yummy and delicious recipe of Banoffee Pie, which I learned back in my graduation!! You have to trust me on this!!! It’s great and very easy to cook dessert.
